Thomas and Jim Chance were raised in the survey business helping their father, John E. Chance, build the largest privately-owned survey company in the world. In 1992, when John E. Chance sold his company, the Chance brothers resigned their management positions and began organizing C & C Technologies, Inc.
Thomas and Jim quickly assembled a team of diverse experts that shared their entrepreneurial spirit. Initially, C & C was operated out of a home office with five employees, but has now grown to more than 600 employees worldwide. C & C is headquartered in Lafayette, Louisiana, 1Cthe Heart of Cajun Country 1D and has offices in Houston, Singapore, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, An;la and the United Kingdom.

C & C 19s operational divisions are sustained by several in-house support functions including a database department, a systems development department, an information technology department, an electronics department, a mechanical fabrication department, as well as an HSE and QA department.
