Installation is simple! No wiring or tools needed. The Autotether simply clips right into your ignition kill switch. It connects to a short, coiled wire that is mounted with 3M dual lock strips, allowing you to easily take the unit on and off the boat. Attach the wireless personal sensor to your PFD or pocket for convenient mobility. If the boat operator ;es overboard, the broken signal will cause the engine to shut off, and an alarm will sound; if a passenger ;es overboard, an alarm will sound to notify the operator. For additional safety, a red alert button can be pressed when anyone notices potential danger. The Autotether system is self-powered via AAA batteries that provide over 100 hours of service. A light on the receiver indicates when its time to recharge the batteries. « less
